High Points:

• Working with the audio equipment – I had a fun time continuing to learn how to make podcasts with the audio equipment at SASC. I learned different ways to record and I also dabbled in a few different audio editing softwares.

Ideas for improvement:

• More focus on editing audio with the new soundtrap tool – Although I just started using soundtrap, I want to learn more about it and everything it has to offer. I also want to learn about different programs, anything but audacity!

Goals:

• New episode of the podcast next term – My goal for next semester is to produce another episode of my podcast series. I want to make sure that it is higher quality than the last because for the last episode I used audacity and it is by far the worst software choice for audio editing that I’ve used. I’ve started using soundtrap and it’s significantly better.
